After completing the second drive we break for elevenses, which includes; delicious handmade canapes, champagne, soft drinks, which is a chance to take a break from shooting before returning for our third drive. Guests are then offered lunch, various options are available but one that works well, is a traditional ploughman’s including all the usual trimmings, plus lots of other homemade goodies.
We then return to shooting for the final two drives before offering guests port, tea, coffee, cakes before bidding everyone farewell after having a truly fabulous day with us!
Inclusive in the below pricing, is a professional photographer for the shoot, who excels at capturing camaraderie, people, fun, shooting and the countryside at just the right moment. All his work is available to guests, after the event.
Essex:
The Seabrook Sporting estate near Chelmsford consists of mixed arable farmland. It boasts numerous beautiful private historic woodlands, new forestry plantations and waterways, offering a truly diverse and scenic experience for our guests. With a conservation led approach, our estate is well-managed and offers extremely realistic game bird flushing points with the addition of our newly constructed grouse butts. Here we have the advantage of hosting from our 17th century shoot lodge, which is a fantastic, atmospheric, and spacious location to meet, eat and to relax. To host a bespoke event for Essex, I would suggest a group between 8-16 guns. We would produce, based on 16 guns across 8 pegs over 5 differed drives 5000 clays. We can accommodate up to 22 guests in the Shoot Lodge which enables the party leader to invite non-shooting guests, if they wish.
Pricing for Essex:
For a party between 8- 16 guns, the price is £262 per gun to include the above, additional non-shooting guests would be charged a hospitality fee £50pp. If you wish to include a dinner option after shooting, this would be charged at an additional £60pp and I would happily discuss options with you.
Clients wishing to arrange videographer for this venue for collaboration purposes or personal use, can be arranged at an additional cost of £400 for a 50 second reel/half day filming, edits included.
Gloucestershire
Nympsfield Estate:
For a team looking for challenging shooting with steep undulating hills with excellent topography our venue at Nympsfield is the perfect location. With magnificent views across the five valleys and its undulating terrain, this landscape lends itself ideally to simulated game shooting. The rolling parkland offers a remote oasis, surrounded by woodland and weaving gravel tracks offering assistance whilst meandering through the steep hills of the estate.
Bathurst Estate:
Set within the grounds of the Bathurst estate, this farm is located in the heart of the Cotswolds. The venue offers open terrain, divided by traditional drystone walls and woodland forests and is steeped in shooting history. Situated just outside Cirencester town, which is often referred to as the capital of the Cotswolds, this location has the advantage of not only offering great shooting but in addition, an array of evening hospitality and accommodation options.
Pricing for Gloucestershire:
The event price is £4850 for either location with a maximum of 16 guns and additional non shooting guests would be charged at £60pp. Should guests wish to include dinner or accommodation options, I would be very happy to make recommendations.
At Seabrook Sporting, we aim to offer simulated game shooting as near to live game shooting as possible, our guests shoot in pairs, swapping from shooter to loader midway through each drive on the sound of a shooting horn. The clays are released from our fully automated traps, presented in flurries, single shots at varying heights and angles with the aim of keeping our guests fully engaged throughout the day. Our drives are varied and each drive will offer a new and different challenge for our guests.
We are about delivering the best we can in terms of shooting, hospitality and fun, we have a few shooting surprises during the day, just to keep guests on their toes. Guests, just need to arrive, with enough cartridges to be able to enjoy the day and allow us to do the rest!
We are fully insured and have specialist shooting insurance through BASCs commercial branch HIGOS. Furthermore, we have qualified shooting safety officers who are present throughout each day. We also have qualified First Aiders and Health and Safety and Food Hygiene certificates. Lastly, we are police approved and hold a section 11(6) to enable non shotgun license holders to shoot alongside certified license holders.
