Down Hall Country House Hotel is our recommended choice for your corporate event.

The shooting can be combined with a morning or afternoon presentation / meeting if required.

We recommend shooting at 50 clays each for a half day event, which is enough shooting to really feel that you’ve had a good go at it, & hopefully get the bug!

All events start with a safety/gun handling briefing, some practice, a friendly competition & a trophy presentation at the end of the event.

Trophies can be personalized with your company name on them at no extra cost.


Guests are issued with hearing protection, shoulder padding for ladies & safety glasses during the briefing.

Timings will be altered to suit your individual requirements whether it be an a.m. or p.m. event

Half day event:
• 9:30am Arrive at venue (tea /coffee)
• 10:00am Meet the instructors / safety briefing & generaloverview of the event.
• 10:15am Practice session, 20 shots each, 10 at a time rotating within the groups.
• 11:15am Competition, 30 shots each, 10 at a time rotating within the groups.
• 12:45 pm. Trophy presentation to winning guests or team, either on the activity field, or in the hotel bar area.

Outdoor gazebos will be on hand, to stop the weather ruining the day's play.
Smaller gauge guns are available for ladies if required.

Prices depend on group size, but as an example:

A half day clay shoot (50 shots) for 8-20 guests costs £tbc + VAT per guest.

Groups of 21+ will cost £tbc + VAT per guest.

For a full days shooting in the afternoon we set up a team flurry event for you.
Basically teams of 3 or 4 shoot a sequence of around 40 clays which are launched in a random manner. There may be up to 6 clays in the air at any one time, so it’s a bit like a free for all!

Great fun that gets the adrenalin flowing!
Guests can shoot the flurry as many times as they wish for around 2 hours in the afternoon.


A full day for 15+ guests shooting 50 each in the morning & doing a flurry that may involve shooting around 50-100 shots in the afternoon costs £tbc + VAT per guest.


The prices quoted don’t include any catering,or the £10 per guest ground fee payable to the hotel directly.

• Breakfast around £16 per guest
• Finger Buffet lunch from around £21 per guest
• Dinner ( 3 course ) around £30 per guest
